Flat cutting

Table sawing

Table sawing is the first step towards manufacturing of CVD diamonds. In this process, the rough diamond is structured parallel in order to provide the flat structure of the diamond. (The table is the facet at the very top of the diamond, giving it a flat surface.)

Crowning

Facets at the top part of the diamond are called crown. The process of giving the crown shape to the diamond is called crowning. Ex: Emerald, Princess, Heart

Bruting

Bruting is the process of cutting the round shape in the diamond after the crown structure given to the diamond. It is the process of ensuring the roundness and smoothness given to the diamond.

Coning

The ultimate shaping of diamond making completes the cone shaped lower part of the diamond with negligible weight loss, optimum breakage and minimum maintenance costs.
